Potential projects Diana: I am envisioning an historical (time of Augustus/ post Civil Wars)/literary introduction (who else was writing at the time, what were they writing) ...the "reception" of the Aeneid over time (audio clip of Purcell's opera Dido et Aeneas/ pieces of artwork reflecting elements of Aeneid (this is something that would be revisited throughout the year as different sections are encountered)...the point is that I would like to make the presentation multimedia/informative/memorable and employing several of the technological tools we have learned this week.)
This would include elements of video clips (might be of the Civil Wars of Rome, or something re: Rome in time of Augustus); stills of elements of contempory Roman history (Ara Pacis, for example) Audio of
